Our British Columbia based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA HR Payroll Consultant to join their project on an ad-hoc, part time basis, running until January 2027 with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have hands-on SAP S/4HANA Payroll support and configuration experience, including HRSP (HR Support Packs), payroll year-end maintenance, production support incidents, and tax year-end T4/T4A. Canadian payroll experience and Pacific Time Zone availability are required. This will be a fully work from home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide SAP S/4HANA Payroll production support, resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
Apply HRSP (HR Support Packs) and SR Service Packs, including regression testing and post-implementation validation.




Perform payroll year-end maintenance, including configuration updates, schema/PCR adjustments, and validation runs.
Support tax year-end activities, including T4/T4A processing, reconciliation, and CRA compliance.
Configure and analyze SAP Payroll components (wage types, schemas, PCRs, and related master data).
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Canadian payroll regulations.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and client stakeholders to assess requirements and deliver ad hoc support based on ticket volume.
