Buffalo Trail Public Schools seeks an Educational Sign Language Interpreter to assist a Kindergarten student at Mannville School during the 2026–2027 school year. This role promotes student success through skilled interpreting services in classrooms, activities, and events.

You will play a critical role in facilitating communication among students, teachers, and families in an inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication using the student’s Individual Support Plan
Support participation in learning and extracurricular activities




Collaborate with teachers and educational staff regularly
Review content and prepare for interpreting assignments
Educate the community on the interpreter’s role

Requirements:
Graduation from an ASL-English Interpreting Program
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum one year of interpreting experience preferred
Knowledge of deaf education and adaptation of signing styles
Member of CASLI or relevant affiliate an asset
