Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer (10+ years of experience) to design and implement cloud-native integration solutions using Azure integration services, Python, Java, and Kafka
Join a technical, hands-on integration initiative focused on enterprise-scale interoperability across real-time and legacy systems. This role centers on developing and deploying cloud-native integrations using Azure APIM, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Kafka. The position involves API security implementation, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration pattern application within complex enterprise environments.
Contract to hire - Hybrid (4 days per week onsite)
Must Haves
- 5+ years in enterprise application integration across complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on development with Azure APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Service Bus
- Production-level coding in Python and/or Java
- Implementation of event-driven systems using Kafka and API security with OAuth 2.0 and JWT
Nice to Have
- Relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, and MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy integration solutions using Azure APIM, Logic Apps, Functions, and Service Bus
- Implement real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Build and secure REST APIs using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API key management
- Apply Enterprise Integration Patterns for routing, transformation, and orchestration
- Perform root-cause analysis to resolve production issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams on integration initiatives
