Interview: 2 rounds, 1st round is 1 hour – technical , 2nd round - 45 minutes, with HM

Ideal profile:

A 4–8 year developer who has recently built AWS serverless applications using Lambda + Step Functions + Java/Spring Boot + TypeScript + Terraform and can explain their own hands-on work in detail.

Project:

Client is looking for an AWS-based application developer to build and support serverless, event-driven and integration-heavy applications . The developer will work on backend services, AWS Lambda/Step Functions, Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and Terraform in an enterprise environment.

What Client Is Looking For:

- Intermediate, hands-on developer — actively coding, not an Architect/DevOps/Manager.
- Java + Spring Boot for backend development.
- Terraform / IaC experience.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and enterprise integrations .
- Comfortable with production support, troubleshooting, Agile, GitHub/Jira/Confluence .
- Robust communication and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Must be willing to work onsite 5 days/week in Downtown Calgary.
