The Substation High Voltage Electrical Technician plays a crucial role in our Power Technical Services department. This position involves extensive high voltage electrical field work, infrared scanning, and system optimization. Your expertise will assist in electrical studies, in office troubleshooting, and project management, ensuring every job is executed within safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct high voltage electrical field work and maintenance
• Perform technical studies on electrical systems




• Provide troubleshooting support both on-site and in-house
• Utilize AutoCAD for electrical drawings in installations
• Review and finalize technical reports and estimates
Requirements:
• Electrical P. Eng. or EIT certification
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
• 309A License or trades certificate
• Robust skills in AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Office
• InfraRed Level 1 certification is an asset
