Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Turnover Coordinator to join our team. The QC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that our products, documentation, and turnover packages meet the highest quality standards. This role requires robust organizational skills and a commitment to excellent customer support.
Position Details
Office‑Based Role — Shop/Fab Yard environment
40 Hours per Week
Location: Sexsmith, Alberta
Wage: $26–$29 per hour
Benefits after 3 months
Key Duties
Turnover Build — Create and organize turnover packages
Cross‑Referencing — Verify accuracy of drawings, weld logs, AB‑83s, and QC documents
Hydro Test Pack Support — Assist with hydro test packs and digital recorder data (asset, not required)
Data Entry — Enter QC and turnover data accurately
Turnover Completion — Finalize and submit complete turnover packages
Scanning & Document Control — Scan and organize project documentation
Requirements
Quality Control Experience — Experience in QC or a similar role
Technical Knowledge — Spool fab, AB‑83s, hydro test packs, turnovers, weld mapping & logging
SpoolFab Experience — Required
Microsoft Outlook & Excel — Strong working knowledge
Teamwork — Works well in a team setting
Time Management — Robust organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Fast‑Paced Workplace — Able to perform well under pressure
Full‑Time Availability — Required
