The Beckwith Butcher is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.

Location: 1 Costello Drive, Suite 4, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0B4

Salary: $36.92 per hour, 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Morning, Day

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in bookkeeping or accounting-related work

Job Duties:
Maintain financial records and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Prepare payroll and calculate employee wages
Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers




Reconcile bank and business accounts
Prepare financial statements and other accounting reports
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Assist with preparation of tax information and returns
Prepare trial balances and maintain accurate accounting documentation
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information

Computer and Technology Skills:
