Join Amentum as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist supporting the National Science Foundation's Antarctic Program. This seasonal role requires expertise in preventative maintenance and major repairs within challenging environments.
The successful candidate will conduct maintenance on buildings, systems, and equipment, including HVAC and refrigeration. As part of a large maintenance team, you'll manage small projects, perform major overhauls, and ensure safe and productive operations. Being able to work independently and follow complex schematics is crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair facility-related equipment and systems
• Manage small maintenance projects and coordinate schedules

• Respond to emergency service calls on duty and off
• Prepare documentation for work plans and safety analyses
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years of facilities maintenance experience
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Familiarity with fuel oil fired appliances
• Willingness to deploy to Antarctica
