This internship program invites students who have completed at least two years in an Electrical discipline. With a commitment to skilled growth and continuous learning, you will support engineers in capital improvement projects and manage smaller projects. Your role combines technical skills, project management, and collaboration with vendors, all within Gerdau's innovative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update equipment and facility drawings
• Collaborate with vendors and manage contractors
• Assist engineers on capex improvement projects
• Support electrical planner in daily tasks
• Plan electrical jobs and procure necessary parts
Requirements:
• Completed at least two years in Electrical discipline
• Minimum GPA of 2.5, preferably 3.0 or higher
• Experience with AutoCAD, PLCs, and automation is a plus
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
