As an integral part of the Shelter & Housing Program at Union Gospel Mission, this Supervisor position involves collaboration with leadership to shape branch direction and service delivery. You will uphold best practices, guide staff, and ensure robust care for marginalized individuals. Strong communication and administrative skills are vital for navigating complex challenges and fostering team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Emergency Shelter operations and team performance
• Develop and implement a vision with the Shelter Manager
• Address complex care situations collaboratively




• Network with internal and external partners
• Participate in staff training and development activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in social work or psychology; equivalent considered
• 5+ years in a social services, preferably a shelter
• Proven supervisory experience and team motivation skills
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Strong communication and administrative abilities
