As part of the Engineering Services team, you will lead mechanical engineering initiatives, ensuring protected and efficient operations across Irving Oil’s facilities. Your focus will include developing crucial engineering deliverables, from design calculations to project execution, providing hands-on field support, and nurturing relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical engineering tasks from inception to completion
• Develop calculations and prepare material requisitions
• Review and approve third-party technical documents




• Supervise installation modifications and provide construction support
• Engage in continuous improvement of systems and procedures

Requirements:
• PEng certification or eligibility in NB, required
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering
• 5+ years with pressure vessels and heat transfer equipment
• 2+ years in petrochemical refining or oil & gas
• Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
