At Everllence Canada we are currently looking for one 4-stroke Superintendent engineer. Your duty is to manage complex field service missions, onshore and offshore on customer´s site.
Everllence Canada is located in Vancouver (West Coast) and Halifax (East Coast), where we have our workshops specialized in maintenance, analysis, investigation of damage, and repair of engines and turbo components. We are current around 45 staff in Canada.
We can offer you Keeping our customers' ship fleets and power plants running and modernizing them is our passion. As an engineer in the 4-stroke sector, your job begins where operators can no longer solve a problem with their own resources. This requires technical understanding, well-considered decisions in the shortest possible time and flexible action.
Troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical and electronic faults on 4-stroke engines
Carrying out repairs and retrofitting of existing systems
Preparation of complex repair offers
Project management of service orders
Documentation of the work and preparation of final service report
Contact person for the customer
professional/technical development (internal training and certification)
Company medical and pension plan.
Overtime compensation
You can help us with these qualifications Bachelor/Master in marine engineering, marine electronics, or electrical engineering with experience in servicing electronically controlled machines.
Qualified experience in handling 4-stroke engines, ideally from practical seafaring or similar occupation.
Experience and solid knowledge of Everllence 4-stroke engines or similar brands from other makers.
A feel for troubleshooting complex mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Hands-on mentality
Fluent written and spoken English
Ability to work in a team and high flexibility
Travel for work within Canada and the US.
