Seeking a Technical Expert in Flight Control Laws Design at our Dorval, QC location. Leverage your expertise in Matlab and C++ to develop innovative CLaws solutions.

This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in developing Flight Control Laws for Fly-By-Wire aircraft. You'll be responsible for both innovative CLaws design and the enhancement of existing models, focusing on R&D; projects. The position also includes key tasks like validation and verification, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop current and improve existing CLaws using Matlab and C++
• Support CLaws and autopilot design for R&D; projects
• Validate and verify CLaws requirements for updates and designs




• Ensure CLaws delivery complies with DO-178B and SAE ARP 4754
• Integrate CLAWS into test rigs and supplier systems

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace Engineering; PhD preferred
• 10+ years experience in Flight Control Laws for FBW aircraft
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics
• Expertise in classical and modern control system design
• Familiarity with DO-178B standards and testing procedures
