As a Plant Layout Design Engineer at Amrize, you will develop detailed designs across various phases for CAPEX projects, including cement and waste management systems. Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers to produce essential documents like mass flow diagrams, general layouts, and 2D/3D models. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop essential plant designs for all project phases
• Create flow sheets and general arrangement drawings
• Coordinate with various engineering and operational teams
• Optimize designs for cost reduction and safety
• Conduct plant visits to assess equipment integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant design experience
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD, Revit, and Navisworks
• Familiarity with cement industry design standards
• Basic project management knowledge
