Scotiabank's GWMS Digital Client Services value stream is modernizing and enhancing client and account onboarding platforms for Scotia Wealth Management. The iTrade Client Onboarding team is seeking a client-focused technical lead to design and develop enterprise application components and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, and implement complex business requirements.

Develop technical designs, investigate and recommend solutions, and deliver applications using agile methodologies.

Provide technical leadership, coordinate across teams, mentor resources, and support production and releases.

Work with architects, developers, business stakeholders, technical support teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership.

Ensure delivered solutions align with business requirements and technical architecture.

Qualifications





Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.

At least five years of development experience and experience across the software development life cycle.

Proficiency with ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and microservices or REST APIs.

Familiarity with cloud concepts, Microsoft Azure, SQL databases, Git, CI/CD and production monitoring tools.

Knowledge of agile or Scrum practices, UNIX/Linux, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and communication with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry, SonarQube, Fortify, Blackduck, or security concepts is an asset.

Full time, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
