Lead production efforts at a Toronto area manufacturer of natural health products. This hands-on role focuses on gummy manufacturing while ensuring compliance and quality meet industry standards.

This position reports directly to the President and demands expertise in regulated manufacturing. You will oversee daily production scheduling, track efficiency, and enforce GMP and Health Canada compliance. A solid emphasis is placed on leading the production team and implementing Lean practices for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee production scheduling to meet demand and quality standards
• Track efficiency, downtime, and yield; correct variances quickly
• Set up SOPs and ensure compliance with GMP and documentation




• Enforce safety procedures and manage allergen controls
• Lead and evaluate production staff and maintenance technician

Requirements:
• BS or Diploma in Engineering, Food Science, or relevant field
• 6-10 years in regulated manufacturing, preferably gummy production
• 2-4 years team management experience
• Experience with molding or cooking processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills
