This Assistant General Counsel role is pivotal in supporting energy infrastructure project development. You will engage in commercial transactions, providing legal advice on power purchase agreements, financing, and joint ventures. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal support for project development and commercial execution
• Draft and negotiate various project and financing agreements
• Structure transactions and manage external counsel effectively
• Ensure compliance with internal policies across transactions
• Offer support in other legal areas as needed
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor degree and U.S. state law admission
• 5-7+ years of energy project development experience
• Proven track record in M&A; documentation
• Solid communication skills in managing stakeholder relations
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision
