JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Accounts Receivable
LOCATION & SCHEDULE: Support Office - Vancouver, Full time
COMPENSATION: $101,600.00 - $158,750.00
As part of the Mars Petcare family of businesses, Mars Veterinary Health is a global network of veterinary practices made possible by 75,000 Associates who care for millions of pets across nearly 3,000 clinics in more than 20 countries each year. We are committed to leveraging our reach to make a long-term positive impact on people, pets, and the planet and know our Purpose – A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS – starts with the people who care for them. We strive to offer unparalleled veterinary care for pets by first and foremost enabling and empowering our Associates to do what they love, whether in primary, specialty, and emergency care or management and leadership. This role requires associates to work out of a MVH North America hub location – Vancouver, WA | Santa Monica, CA | Tampa, FL
Why This Role Matters The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable provides leadership, governance and operational ownership within the North America Accounts Receivable team in a centralized, shared services operating model, supporting Banfield, BluePearl and VCA. The role is accountable for team performance, balance integrity, issue resolution and service outcomes across the AR portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant execution of AR activities across a highly complex, multi-site network of veterinary hospitals.
This position leads a team of Accounts Receivable Analysts across both core AR and associate receivables (collections), focusing on people leadership, performance management, escalation resolution and control governance rather than transactional processing, which is executed by shared services and hospital teams. The Supervisor plays a critical role in driving consistency, strengthening internal controls and ensuring effective and complaint service delivery across the AR function.
Success in this role is measured by achievement of service level targets across the team, sustained improvement in balance accuracy and aging, timely resolution of complex and escalated issues, reduction of recurring variances and outstanding balances through effective root-cause analysis, and measurable improvement in process consistency, compliance and overall financial integrity across AR operations.

Your Experience Should Include Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, a related Field, or equivalent practical experience
5-7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, payroll-related receivables, or a similar analytical finance role
2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and team development
Strong understanding of AR processes, internal controls, compliance requirements and audit support
Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex AR, non-routine AR and collections issues using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret performance metrics, trends and variances and translate insights into action
Demonstrated ability to drive performance outcomes, including improving balance accuracy, aging trends and compliance through data-driven decision-making
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across shared services partners and cross-functional teams
Experience supporting process documentation, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
Intermediate Excel skills and comfort working with data sets and reporting
Ability to make decisions within established controls to resolve issues and ensure compliant outcomes
Ability to handle sensitive financial and associate-related data with integrity and confidentiality
Strong ownership mindset with accountability, attention to detail and continuous improvement orientation
