Description

Key Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned and stored in their designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors, including storage and preparation areas.
- Remove garbage, recycling, and compost and transport it to designated disposal areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required.
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks as assigned.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with banquet and event breakdowns, ensuring all service ware is promptly cleaned and returned to inventory.

Qualifications





- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
