Reporting directly to the Global Corporate Counsel and CPO, this role involves providing strategic legal guidance across various departments. You will focus on employment issues, human rights, privacy laws, and pension guidelines, working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a team-oriented approach and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety initiatives and promote environmental compliance
• Collaborate on employment and human rights legal matters




• Advise on BC workplace legislation and privacy laws
• Support pension law adherence for BC-registered plans
• Consult on legal aspects during M&A; and divestitures

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) or similar legal qualification
• At least 5 years of Canadian legal practice
• Member of the BC Bar or eligible
• Strong skills in employment, privacy, and pension law
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
