As a dedicated mechanic, you will focus on maintaining MiWay’s transit fleet, utilizing your skills in diagnostics and repairs. Candidates should possess a valid 310T certificate and have at least five years of relevant experience as an apprentice or journeyperson. The role also demands familiarity with computerized work orders and the ability to work independently in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on transit fleet vehicles
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults with laptops




• Understand schematics related to vehicles
• Perform road call diagnosis and repairs
• Use necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:
• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate
• Minimum five years combined mechanic experience
• Familiarity with heavy-duty diesel engines
• Valid G Driver’s License preferred
• Experience in a unionized workplace is an asset
