Enhance mental health care at HAMILTON URBAN CORE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE as a Psychologist focusing on substance use recovery. Provide assessments, therapy, and group interventions at the HART Hub.

This part time role will support individuals facing substance-use concerns and mental health challenges. As a crucial member of the interdisciplinary team, you will address complex needs through psychological assessments and tailored interventions.

You'll facilitate group therapy and contribute to holistic treatment plans for clients at various recovery stages.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological assessments to identify client needs
- Deliver individual and group psychological interventions
- Facilitate therapeutic programming and skills development




- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Support transitions between care levels and community services

Requirements:

- Doctoral degree in Psychology, registered in Ontario
- Experience in substance use and concurrent mental health
- Competency in evidence-based therapies e.g., CBT, DBT
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to cultural safety and health equity
