Buffalo Trail Public Schools seeks an Educational Sign Language Interpreter to assist a Kindergarten student at Mannville School during the 2026–2027 school year. This role promotes student success through professional interpreting services in classrooms, activities, and events.

You will play a critical role in facilitating communication among students, teachers, and families in an inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate communication using the student’s Individual Support Plan
- Support participation in learning and extracurricular activities




- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff regularly
- Review content and prepare for interpreting assignments
- Educate the community on the interpreter’s role

Requirements:

- Graduation from an ASL-English Interpreting Program
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum one year of interpreting experience preferred
- Knowledge of deaf education and adaptation of signing styles
- Member of CASLI or relevant affiliate an asset
