Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to quality standards. Duties

- Set up CNC machines including CNC lathes and CNC milling machines using technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and CAD programs.
- Program CNC machines utilizing languages like Mazatrol and Fanuc to produce complex parts with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other machining equipment to perform adjustments, measurements, and quality checks.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to maintain optimal performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, tools, and machinery; operate forklifts when necessary for material movement.




- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
- Assist in assembly tasks when required, ensuring parts meet quality standards before final inspection or shipment.

Experience

- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or CNC milling machines in a manufacturing workplace.
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages including Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Experience using SolidWorks or other CAD software for part design or modifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and proper use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, welding equipment, and forklift operation is highly desirable.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and continuous improvement in production workflows.

Pay: $18.26-$31.96 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
