The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning schedules are maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding room cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service to guests.
