Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our vibrant healthcare team. Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a friendly and respectful environment
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment through regular cleaning routines
- Observe and report changes in residents’ health or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals
- Support residents with activities that enhance their quality of life, including recreational programs or social engagement

Qualifications





- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Solid background in senior care, caregiving, or home care services
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is advantageous
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents of all ages
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a positive attitude toward caregiving responsibilities

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
