Location: Various locations across Alberta

As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide essential patient care in avariety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-termcare facilities. Your role will focus on supporting patients' daily needs,administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promoteoptimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist inthe daily care of patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding, whileensuring comfort and dignity.
- Administermedications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for side effectsand effectiveness.




- Observeand record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, reportingany concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronichealth records (EHR).
- Workclosely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionalsto coordinate patient care and support treatment plans.
- Educatepatients and their families about health management, medication usage, andpreventive care strategies.
- Adhere toinfection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environmentfor patients and staff.
- Provideemotional support and comfort to patients and their families, fostering acompassionate care workplace.

Requirements

- Completionof a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
- Validstate LPN license and current CPR certification.
- Previousexperience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strongclinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to providingcompassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
