You will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across our kitchen, dining, and utility areas. Key Responsibilities Kitchen & Prep Area Sanitation: Deep clean, degrease, and sanitize commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel prep lines, cooking stations, and exhaust hoods. Dishwashing & Warewashing: Operates commercial dishwashers, manually washes heavy pots/pans/utensils, and restocks clean cookware and dishware. Floor Maintenance: Sweep, scrub, and mop kitchen, prep room, and dining room floors; clean floor drains and matting. Trash & Recycling Management: Empty garbage cans, recycling units, and grease traps following proper local waste disposal procedures. Facility Upkeep:



Clean and restock staff and guest restrooms, wipe down high-touch surfaces, and clean glass/windows as needed. Sanitization Standards: Maintain proper chemical dilution ratios for sanitizers and uphold strict public health inspection standards. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in commercial kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, or janitorial work preferred (will train the right candidate). Physical Stamina: Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 40–50 lbs comfortably throughout shift. Attention to Detail: Pride in thorough cleanliness and working knowledge of food safety hygiene. Reliability: Punctual and dependable for evening, late-night, or early-morning schedules. Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with WHMIS and chemical safety protocols is a strong asset.
