Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Labourer with expertise in carpentry, heavy machinery operation, and general construction tasks. This dynamic role involves working on diverse projects that require precision, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude. As a key member of our construction team, you will utilize your skills in blueprint reading, concrete forming, drywall installation, and equipment handling to contribute to high-quality building and renovation projects. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
- Operate telehandlers, skid steers, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to move materials around job sites.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and tile laying with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Install drywall, siding, cabinetry, flooring, roofing materials, and perform finishing tasks such as caulking and painting.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, framing, carpentry work, woodworking projects, and general construction duties.
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support site cleanup, material handling,



heavy lifting, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Alberta Class 5 drivers
- Proven experience in construction or related trades with a strong background in carpentry and general labour.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and heavy equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, drywall installation, masonry techniques, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Excellent teamwork skills coupled with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Valid certifications or licenses related to construction equipment operation or specific trades are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
