We’re looking for energetic, reliable Food Service Associates to join one of our outdoor festive German-inspired food hut this holiday season.

Our hut will be serving bratwurst, pretzels, sauerkraut and other German Winter-market favourites in a busy, fun and festive environment.

Whether you’re taking orders, serving customers or helping prepare food behind the scenes, you’ll play an important role in keeping the hut running smoothly.

What you'll do

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS
- Prepare and serve bratwurst, pretzels, sauerkraut and other menu items
- Prep food and ingredients for daily service
- Bake buns and pretzels as needed
- Assemble and package customer orders accurately
- Keep orders moving quickly and efficiently during busy periods
- Answer customer questions about menu items
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness and presentation
- Keep the kitchen, prep areas and service areas clean and organized
- Follow food-safety and safe food-handling practices
- Restock supplies and communicate when inventory needs replenishing
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Help create a welcoming, upbeat Winter-market atmosphere




- Work as part of a team to keep the hut running smoothly during busy service

We're looking for someone who

- Has previous experience in food service, hospitality, cooking or a similar fast-paced environment
- Is comfortable either working in food preparation or taking customer orders and providing service
- Is energetic, friendly and enjoys working with people
- Is organized, dependable and takes pride in their work
- Can stay calm, positive and effective when things get busy
- Has good attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Is comfortable working as part of a small team
- Is comfortable working outdoors/in a market environment in winter conditions
- Is available for the required Winter-market dates and hours

Dates: November 19th to December 24th — 26 Market Days: Thursday-Sunday November 19th-December 13th; daily December 15th-December 24th

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
