Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused part-time Cashier (Caissier/caissière) to join our retail team. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and appealing
- Offer knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially when engaging in technology or retail sales
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout processes without compromising service quality
- Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications

- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is highly preferred to serve our diverse customer base
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is advantageous, especially with technology or electronics products
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal interaction
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work flexible hours as part of a team, including evenings and weekends if needed

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
