About the Company

TorGlaze is an established and growing structural restoration and construction company specializing in the repair, rehabilitation, and restoration of residential, commercial, and institutional properties. Our work includes structural concrete repairs, building envelope restoration, waterproofing, masonry repairs, parking garage restoration, balconies, foundations, and other specialty restoration projects.

We are looking for an experienced Structural Restoration Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a motivated construction professional who is comfortable working with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews while managing projects from initial site assessment and estimating through to successful completion.

Position Overview

The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing accurate and competitive estimates, developing scopes of work, coordinating resources, and managing projects through completion.

The successful candidate will have strong construction knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to understand both the technical and financial aspects of restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating

- Review drawings, specifications, reports, photographs, and project documentation.
- Conduct site visits and assess existing conditions.
- Develop detailed scopes of work and accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and change-order pricing.
- Identify potential project risks, exclusions, and scope gaps.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, suppliers,



and subcontractors during the estimating process.
- Assist with tender submissions and bid negotiations.

Project Management

- Manage restoration and construction projects from award through completion.
- Coordinate schedules, labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site activities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, property managers, and internal teams.
- Review project scope, budgets, schedules, and contract requirements.
- Monitor project costs and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage change orders, progress billings, and project documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure work is progressing according to specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with site supervisors and crews to resolve field issues and keep projects moving efficiently.
- Coordinate inspections, deficiencies, closeout requirements, and final completion.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management.
- Experience in structural restoration, concrete restoration, building envelope, waterproofing, masonry, or related construction is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, sequencing,



and site conditions.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Experience preparing detailed estimates, scopes of work, and proposals.
- Solid understanding of construction costs, labour requirements, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with estimating/project management software is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
