About the role
Spring Living is looking for a talented, modern chef to prepare daily meals for a small team at our Toronto office. You will own the kitchen end to end: planning menus, prepping, cooking, plating, serving, and leaving the space spotless. This role suits someone who takes pride in fresh, beautifully presented food and enjoys cooking for a small, appreciative group.
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 1:00pm Monday and Tuesday, and 10:00am-1:00pm from Wednesday to Friday each week
- Occasional evening events, scheduled in advance and paid separately
Responsibilities
- Plan weekly menus that are seasonal, varied, and balanced, adapting to executive preferences and dietary needs
- Ability to prepare 10-20 meals per day
- Plate and serve with a modern, polished presentation
- Create and circulate menus for small evening events, from planning through service
- Order groceries and supplies, manage inventory, and stay within budget
- Clean the kitchen, equipment, and service areas after every shift
- Ability to track all meals served
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional culinary experience (private, corporate, restaurant, or catering)
- Strong plating and presentation skills with a contemporary style
- Menu development experience, including for small events
- Valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate
- Culinary diploma or Red Seal certification is an asset
- Discreet, professional, and comfortable in an executive office workplace
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
