Our client is seeking a Red Seal Transport and Trailer Mechanic to join their team in Dartmouth, NS. As a Red Seal Transport and Trailer Mechanic, you’ll work on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, keeping equipment reliable, safe, and ready for the road. What's the Job?

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on transport trucks and trailers, including heavy equipment systems. Service and troubleshoot components to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Carry out mechanical work on equipment such as Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, Bayview, East Coast International, and Cummins systems. Inspect vehicles and parts to identify wear, damage, and potential issues before they become failures. Complete repairs and documentation accurately to support safe, reliable fleet operations.

What's Needed?

Red Seal certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent Red Seal trade qualification. Hands-on experience working as a mechanic on transport trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical problems efficiently and correctly. Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail during inspections and repairs.



Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly about vehicle condition and repair needs.
