Position Summary
Thales has a vacancy for a DevOps Sub-Discipline Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing the DevOps team, overseeing the development, deployment, and operations processes to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, managing infrastructure, and fostering collaboration between software development and IT operations teams.

This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List and/or the US the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization for such access.
Key Areas of Responsibility
As a member of the DevOps team,
- Design, develop and manage solutions (e.g. Ansible playbooks/rules) to automate configuration tasks across Windows and Linux based servers
- Create and maintain reusable automations that support various environments (dev, test, and production).
- Educate resources on CI/CD best practices..
- Integrate workflows with CI/CD pipeline to enable automated deployments and updates.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to server configuration and automation.
- Assume leadership role on discipline strategy and technical decisions.
- Develop KPIs to assess DevOps efficiency and reliability.
- Provide guidance and support to other teams on using and developing CI/CD pipelines.
- Responsible for performing DevOps work on bids, projects and products.
