Become a Ski Patrol member at Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna, BC, for the season! This full time role includes first aid response and safety assessments.
Big White Ski Resort is seeking qualified patrollers to ensure the safety and enjoyment of its visitors during winter operations. This position requires confidence on skis or a snowboard and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Responsibilities encompass first aid, risk management, slope monitoring, search and rescue, and guest relations, making a direct impact on the resort experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first aid and respond to worker incidents
• Conduct incident investigations and risk assessments
• Monitor slopes for hazards and safety




• Execute search and rescue missions with precision
• Represent the resort as an ambassador in guest interactions
Requirements:
• Valid 80+ hour first aid certification
• Advanced skiing or snowboarding skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong knowledge of Big White Ski Resort
• Additional ski patrol certifications (asset)
