Beyond Landscaping Ltd is one of thefastest growing companies on the North Shore. We providehardscaping (designing, building), gardening & planting, aswell as snow & ice management services to our customers. Wetake excellent pride in the work we do and because of this, we areexpanding rapidly and adding to our team. Job Type: On call 24/7 for snow storms, but we oftenstart clearing by 3:30 am

Schedule: 8-12 hour shiftsdepending on snow storm severity

Essential: Hard-working,reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physicallydemanding conditions, team player

-$50 per day shiftbonus for all snow storms-

THIS IS A SEASONALPOSITION

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Snow removal andice control.
- Operating manualand heavy equipment to remove and relocate snow on theproperty
- Plowing, salting,both by machine and manually, shoveling doorways and walkways toensure areas are safe
- Demonstratingcorrect use of the equipment
- Reporting anyunsafe conditions
- Maintain accuratedocumentation such as: fuel reports, safety reports and hours ofservice
- Maintain/cleanequipment and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs asrequired
- Familiar withperformance requirements; understand route map and sand/saltapplication rate




- Meet call inrequirements during a winter storm event
- Perform otherduties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1 - 2 yearsprevious snow plowing experience is preferred
- Willing to workday and night shifts, weekends and holidays whenneeded
- Ability to operaterequired equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability toeffectively communicate with co-workers andsupervisors
- Working safely isa condition of employment.
- Must becomfortable plowing snow in subdivisions, in tight spaces, onhighways and county roads in all weather conditions.
- Promote, executeand adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage allemployees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as aculture.
