Join Our Team as a Heavy Duty Technician at GFL Environmental in Charlottetown, PE!
Our Technicians safely operate, repair, and maintain GFL Environmental owned commercial diesel and alternative fuel trucks, and heavy equipment to ensure its ability to operate safely.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair operational issues with heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs using M5 planner; Stay current with technical manuals, training programs, and emerging technologies.
Fully licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyperson/Red Seal) or a registered apprentice.
Available to work some afternoons/evenings(2pm-11pm, shift premium provided)
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Competitive hourly wage: $32–$42/hour.
