The Beckwith Butcher is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.

Location: 1 Costello Drive, Suite 4, Carleton Place, ON K7C 0B4

Salary: $36.92 per hour, 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Morning, Day

Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in bookkeeping or accounting-related work

Job Duties:

- Maintain financial records and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Prepare payroll and calculate employee wages
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers
- Reconcile bank and business accounts




- Prepare financial statements and other accounting reports
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Assist with preparation of tax information and returns
- Prepare trial balances and maintain accurate accounting documentation
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information

Computer and Technology Skills:

- MS Excel
- QuickBooks
- Spreadsheet software
