As a vital member of the Shelter and Respite Services Department, you will enhance Dixon Hall’s reputation through transparent and engaging communication. This position demands proficiency in community outreach, a strong command of storytelling, and the ability to connect operational updates with diverse audiences effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop communication plans for winter respite and housing centres
• Coordinate resident and tenant communications for updates and newsletters
• Draft clear messages for community operational updates




• Support the creation of signage and FAQs for programs
• Identify emerging issues and provide effective communication solutions
Requirements:
• Degree in Communications or related field
• 2–4 years in community relations or public communications
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency
• Knowledge of housing or social services sector
• Must provide Vulnerable Sector Screening with explicit result
