Afterschool Homework Helper — LearnStar Beachy Cove Elementary

Location: AWH Community Center, 5 RC Church Drive
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30–6:00 p.m.
Pay: $17.50 per hour

Make a difference in a child’s afternoon! LearnStar is seeking patient, enthusiastic Homework Helpers to support students at our Beachy Cove afterschool program.

What you’ll do:
Help elementary students with homework and educational activities.
Encourage confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
Support games, crafts, and other program activities.
Help maintain a secure, welcoming space where every child feels included.
Assist with setup and cleanup, and follow the direction of program supervisors.

Reliability, teamwork, and explicit communication skills.
Confidence helping with elementary-level homework.
Current Basic First Aid certification is required.
You must have a completed Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check before applying.
