Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a robust understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced workplace.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the dental software system.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.

Qualifications




Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred;
Familiarity with dental software systems Cleardent is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
