Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with basic food preparation to support the kitchen staff
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards
Support cooking activities by handling simple tasks such as assembling salads or portioning ingredients
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene and safety protocols
Assist in setting up workstations and restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen managers to support meal preparation and service
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or food industry roles is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
Willingness to learn basic cooking techniques and support meal preparation processes
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Prior kitchen experience or serving background is a plus but not mandatory
