Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools
Operate forklifts safely to move materials as needed during the painting process
Apply primers, paints, and coatings accurately using spray guns, following specified procedures
Conduct inspections of finished work to ensure quality standards are met, including checking for proper coverage and adhesion
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
Proven experience in industrial painting within a manufacturing or mechanical setting
Ability to read technical drawings or specifications related to coating applications
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Wage will be subject to skill level
