Produce Retail Clerk - Focus in cut fruit/ vegetable program

A day in the life of a Fresh Retail Clerk:

As a customer yourself, you know how important it is to find exactly the products you are looking for. Maintaining a well-stocked store so that the customer shopping experience is quick, easy and efficient is the key to building loyalty. That is why our Produce Clerks play such an important role in the success of our stores. Full training is provided for this position.

Experience

· No previous experienced required

Key Responsibilities
Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
Cut fruit & vegetable program, In-store salads, prepare entertaining trays & parfaits
Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Company’s programs
Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor
Preparing customer orders
Receiving and rotation of product
Filling product showcases and preparing back stock




Cleaning of customer and non customer facing locations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to learn quickly
Ability to work in a fast paced workplace
Highly motivated and team oriented
Possess strong customer service qualities
Works in a safe and responsible manner
Available to work flexible schedule
Must be available to work week days and weekends

Physical Requirements
Consistent lifting of up to 20 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
Consistent reaching, gripping
Frequent bending, walking, standing, twisting, pushing or pulling carts
Occasional crouching, kneeling, squatting
Occasional computer and electronic device use

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
