Job Role: Journeyman / Field Service Technician

Location: Lethbridge, AB | Division: Material Handling

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman / Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, and mobile elevating work platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing.
Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, brakes, batteries, and other components.
Use diagnostic technology to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Maintain high-quality workmanship while following safety and OH&S; standards.
Provide professional customer service and complete repairs efficiently.
Maintain service tools, vehicles, and a secure, organized work environment.
Support and mentor apprentices as required.





Qualifications
3+ years of relevant technician experience.
Journeyman/trade background in Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Truck & Transport, or Automotive is an asset.
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills.
Ability to operate a forklift and use diagnostic equipment.
Robust communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize service calls.
