The Role
You are the engine of the install crew.
As a Shingler, your job is to execute high-quality roofing work under the direction of your Lead Shingler. You contribute directly to the pace, quality, safety, and cleanliness of every job site.
You are not working alone - you are part of a system where consistency, discipline, and teamwork define success.
Every shingle you install matters.
What You Will Own
Installing shingles, underlayment, and roofing components to standard
Following direction from the Lead Shingler precisely
Maintaining consistent workmanship across every section of roof
Handling and staging materials safely and correctly
Supporting continuous site cleanliness throughout the day
Assisting in tear-off, setup,
and final clean-up
Reporting issues, defects, or safety concerns immediately
Working as part of a coordinated crew environment
Who You Are
Reliable and consistent in showing up and working hard
Comfortable working at height and in outdoor conditions
Detail-focused enough to care about finish quality
Able to follow instructions without deviation
Team-oriented and respectful on site
Safety-conscious and disciplined with PPE use
Willing to learn and improve over time

Requirements & Nice-to-Haves
Required:
Ability to work safely on residential roofs
Physical capability for manual roofing labour
Willingness to follow direction from Lead Shingler
Solid attendance and reliability
Nice-to-Have:
Prior roofing or construction experience
Familiarity with asphalt shingle installation
Experience working in crew-based settings
Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
Location:
Victoria, BC (required)
Pay: $20.45-$36.31 per hour
