My Physio Sports and Rehab is looking for a medical/physiotherapy clinic receptionist to join its exciting team of health professionals. This position requires an experienced candidate to provide a skilled level of service to ensure that the highest degree of quality patient care/confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Job Duties
Acts as medical/physiotherapy receptionist to greet and help patients in a qualified, friendly, kind, helpful manner.
Performs scheduling duties.
MVA/ WSIB form processing and filing
Initiates prior authorizations as required by payers and obtains pre-certifications for services as needed.
Verify insurance on all recent and existing patients and assist with MVA and WSIB forms
Maintains patient records and other department documentation, including, but not limited to, alphabetical filing, copying & mailing physician correspondence, processing & assembly of therapist charts.
Maintains clinic organization including, vacuuming, stocking bedside supplies, laundry and general clinic cleaning duties.




Knowledge of Jane app or Accuro is a plus
Knowledge of bracing and orthotics is a plus

Qualifications

Experience in a similar position. Exemplary phone etiquette, with ability to handle multiple calls and tasks. Working knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar computer programs. Experience with Jane app a bonus.
