We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team for one to two days per week. Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to legal and safety guidelines
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review patient treatment plans
Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed for optimal results
Maintain detailed records of medication administration and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
Ensure the pharmacy environment complies with all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Stay current with medical terminology, pharmaceutical advancements, and hospital protocols to deliver informed patient care
Requirements
Valid pharmacist license in positive standing with relevant licensing authorities
Community Pharmacy experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced clinical settings
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
