Overview
We’re seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals to support lighting maintenance across our large warehouse. If you’re practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable walking, climbing, and using basic tools, this is a great prospect to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining secure working conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Replace faulty lights across multiple aisles, ensuring the warehouse remains safe and well-lit.
Use simple tools like screwdrivers and impact guns to replace older lights—averaging about 5 minutes per light.
Conduct your work with safety as a top priority, following proper procedures and wearing mandatory PPE.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Maintain accurate progress records and report any issues or concerns promptly.
Must-Have Qualifications
Ability to walk extensively and climb ladders comfortably.
Hands-on experience with general maintenance, technical tasks, or handyman work.
Strong attention to safety, with the ability to work with low-voltage electrical tasks (24 volts) without electrical experience.
Positive communication skills.
Previous experience working in large warehouses or industrial environments.
Safety certification or PPE experience, especially with safety footwear.
Details
Hours: 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
Duration: Approximately 3 months
PPE: Must wear CSA-certified impact-resistant safety boots with composite toes or steel toe.
